This is a good-looking model straight from the (rather nice) box. So far it has been on a test bed and done running-in session. At this stage the motor, panto ,lights and sound are all working perfectly, as I'd expect from this company.
I resisted buying this loco for ages due to the limited time that the real loco spent in this configuration (roughly mid to late 1980). However, other purchases allowed me to slip my layout to this period, so I bought one. Sounds, looks and runs brilliantly. These are so good that I have been replacing older models because they just don't compare well any more. Have 3 50s now with more on order.
Bought this decoder (with clips and Accurathrash speaker) to fit sound to an out of stock DCC Ready Class 50 that I managed to obtain. Now it is exactly like my other Factory-fitted DCC Sound Class 50s. Really does sound great, with lots of control over the lighting as well. Almost like being stood next to the real thing!

Never disappointed, my third pair of the ‘blue’ HYAs. These are excellent models with smooth running, super livery and details.

I'm a steam buff really but I have seen this lovely loco parked at Crewe in the LSL sidings and it does look special. Now it is up and running too and this model is absolutely tremendous/ Well done Accurascale

I bought these for my class 50 which is on pre-order. I have no doubt that they will be the finishing touch to my loco, as I also bought another crew for another loco and they look superb.
I’m so glad I bought these for my Class 66, having cabin in the makes all the difference. These figures are perfect, they are already coloured so it’s a simple matter of popping off the lock cover and gluing them in place.
I would highly recommend.
